GUIDE TO ADDING A CLASSIFIED ADVERTISMENT

GUIDE TO SIGNING UP TO SELL FREE ON ACTIV COVENTRY CLASSIFIEDS

Filling out the sign up form should be an easy chore and once registered you can log in and add your items for sale whenever you want. All items submitted are subject to approval of Activ Coventry.

Please take time to read terms and conditions.

The form is straight-forward, when you come to the website box only fill this in if you want buyers to visit your website.(If you have one - if not and you want one, e-mail business@activcoventry.com )

When you have filled out the form click submit at the bottom of the page. You will then receive e-mail from Activ Coventry. Once your application is approved you will be e-mailed a password and log-in details.

Once logged in check your details and update if required. Then click ADD LISTING (Listing is your classified advertisement)

  Classifieds title - This can be e.g.  For Sale or Camera or Ice Skates etc etc

Classifieds Area - Coventry

Classifieds Summary - e.g. Figure ice skates size 5

Main Image - If you have a company logo load it here

Photo's

You can add up to 5 photo's, all images must be less than 1mb so please reduce to large web size

Classifieds Listing Description - e.g.  Figure skates

Then in the main text panel insert your classified add in full. We recommend you type out your add in a Microsoft word document with spell check on. Then highlight all text and copy. Go to webpage and above the main text panel click on the word clipboard icon. A text box will open, click in here then right click and then click paste. Once your text has appeared click insert at the bottom of this text box.

Your text will now appear in the main text panel. Set the font size to 12 or 14. Proof read and when happy, go to bottom of page and click update listing.
